Oprah’s Ultimate Australian Adventure was filmed in Sydney in December 2010. With a weekly US audience of 40 million and millions of additional viewers in 145 countries across the world, the event showcased Sydney and NSW to the world and drew high levels of interest from both local and international media. Images of Oprah and her 302 guests experiencing key attractions in Sydney appeared to a combined international television of audience of over 25 million.
