Business Events are a key component of the NSW Events Calendar and business tourism. Business events include association events (conferences and conventions), corporate and incentive events. They are drivers of significant economic value to the State, yielding a considerably higher return on investment than that generated by non-business events. In 2010, Business Events Sydney estimated that business events won for Sydney in 2010 will deliver more than $180 million to the State. Events NSW, working closely with Business Events Sydney, has developed a business events strategy for NSW that augments the NSW Events Calendar.
